Elks Club Managers ServSafe training

Greetings Fellow Elk Members,
I am trying to get an idea of how many people from our lodges would be interested in taking a servSafe course in responsible serving of Alcohol and another course in food safety. The course for alcohol is a 4.5 hr class with an approximate cost of $50. The food course is an 8.5 hour class costing approximately $100. These courses are highly invaluable. and I certainly encourage any responsible party, especially Club Managers or the person closest to that position, Bartenders, trustees etc. to participate. Both courses comply with the Responsible Vendor Act recognized by the State of Colorado.
Depending on the reply I get, I will try to schedule one of each course on the west slope and the Denver area, if possible.
Please let me know if anyone is interested and in which class you would be interested in and what lodge you are from. The sooner I get replies the sooner I can schedule everything.

40th Annual Laradon Hall Benefit Drawing

The funds raised by the voluntary donations to this drawing have made it possible for Laradon Hall to provide services for countless clients through these 40 years. Again it is time for the Elks of the state of Colorado to step forward and with their
voluntary donations provide for Laradon Hall and have some fun in the process.

The Colorado Elks Association is selling raffle tickets to win jersey and football card autographed by Randy Gradishar. This was donated by Mr. Norm Teltow, Vice Chairman of the Laradon Board of Directors.
